Tracy Jones BA (Hons), Masters in Social Work
Tracy has been a registered Social Worker for over twenty years, specialising in care for children with a range of complex disabilities. She has experience in safeguarding, fostering and adoption and paediatric palliative and end of life care.
She has worked for children’s hospice Ty Hafan for almost ten years and is currently the Head of Community Services and Partnerships. Her role includes overseeing the delivery of a range of therapeutic and clinical community-based support to families living with a life limited child. She also has responsibility for the delivery of bereavement services.
Tracy has previously been a registered foster carer, providing short break care for disabled children.
She continues to be passionate about inclusion and empowerment for disabled children and families.
Until recently she served as a primary school Governor and in her spare time enjoys cooking and eating fine food and spending time with her family.
